CARE: We strongly recommend that you hand wash and air dry this armband. Treat this armband as you would any phone case and do not place in the washer/dryer as this can cause tears etc..
MATERIAL: Nylon, Velcro and Neoprene

Now, my thoughts on the Airbundle Armband:

I have a Samsung S5. It's easy to put my phone into the armband. There is a slit/opening which allows the camera to still be used while it's in the armband. There are also holes where needed for your ear buds. There isn't an opening where you can leave it in the armband and charge it, however.

While your phone is in the armband you can still swipe and tap as usual on your device.
The armband is lightweight and you can easily use the side buttons while it's in the armband.

This picture shows me wearing it on my lower arm. That's where it's convenient for me while I am out and about.

Easier for me to wear it there and in the armband than worrying about it falling out of my pocket, accidentally leaving it lay somewhere, or fumbling around in my bag to find it when I need it.

I can see this as being super convenient for someone who is out jogging, or running on the treadmill to strap on, plug in their headphones, and get their music motivating them while they exercise.

The price is good as well for the product and it's uses.

Frugal Friday with Marsha -- Gift Cards

MarshasSpot

This past week I've thought a lot about money. Not that I don't think about it a lot all the time, but this week was more.
I found myself upset that I had to spend all of my earned Target gift cards to buy cat food and cat litter.
I've come to the conclusion that I must be happy that I had them to buy the food and litter!

It really is great that I can earn the gift cards. Most of them are earned through running the apps on my phones. Swagbucks being my number one earner, and then PerkTV.
With those I take turns between getting amazon, Walmart, and Target. Amazon, of course, is used online through amazon. Recently I purchased a new cell phone battery and then a charger as well. Target cards have to be spent online or input into the Target app to be scanned and used at the store (which is what I do). The Walmart cards can be spent online, but they are also printable to be used in the store (which again is what I do).

What bothered me the most last week was that I had to spend all of them that I had. I'm more used to always having some available so when I see a good deal online I can gather my coupons and go spend my Target cards, usually getting more back for what I am buying. I didn't even bother to look up deals this week with nothing to spend. Yes, that is what bothered me the most.

As I said, it hit me just how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to earn the gift cards....period! They are very helpful all the way around.
Today I should have $10 in Walmart cards in my email. I'm heading there in a bit where I always buy what the Friday Freebie is on savingstar and the healthy choice item for the week if it's something we will eat. (Last week was asparagus, which we don't eat).

I did get the pleasure of a pretty good grocery shopping trip this past week. I had the Friday Freebie of the Tostitos snack on my Dillons (Kroger) card. I then bought a half gallon of milk for $1, 3-16 oz cottage cheese on sale for just .50 each, a 16 oz sour cream on sale for just .50, and 4 pot pies for mu .49 each after sale and digital coupon. I think I got a lot for just $5.38.

How has your week been frugal wise?

Writer's Unite 4/16/15

MarshasSpot

Boy April seems to be flying by!  How did we already get to the middle of the month?

I've been keeping up with my blog fairly well, but still not writing as much as I should.  I only have one item at the moment to yet get a review written on.

I've only been writing once a day at bubblews, but hope to get back to writing at least twice a day there.
If you are a regular reader then you know that I am trying other avenues with the traffic exchanges to try to earn right now.

I'm not seeing a lot of people sharing from other writing platforms much.  It looks like a lot of my regular readers are mostly writing on their own blogs now.   How about you?

WIP Wednesday 4/15/15

It's still been a struggle to find time for sewing at home.
All I did this week from home was to put together these purple 4-patches for the soscrappy challenge:

I guess I have to take that back.  Friday night was sit n' sew at the quilt shop.  I worked on my fractured pineapple quilt there, but I also worked a bit more on it the next day at home.  I'm sure pushing my time to get it done for the quilt show in July.
Yesterday was sewing club at church.  I helped some on the quilt that we are making that will go to auction to help raise money for our camp.  I also put together this small child's quilt top.
The blocks with the nursery rhymes painted on were already made and donated to us.
Here is my UFO list.  Can I finish anything this month??  Oh, I do have to finish the challenge quilt for guild as it goes up on the 27th.

UFO's:

Rectangle quilt
challenge wall hanging
GoodNight Irene quilt/wall hanging
Yo-Yo Table runner
Emerald Island Fusique table runner
Five and Dime quilt
Fractured Pineapple quilt
Charming Stars quilt
Brown half square triangle quilt
5 sets of doll blanket, pillows and rug
Hexagon flower table runner
Wall hanging for quilt guild
Challenge quilt for quilt guild

Traffic Exchange Update

License: CC0 Public Domain / FAQ Free for commercial use / No attribution required

I over scheduled myself for merchandising work today forgetting that I had a board meeting and a quilt show meeting this morning!  I didn't get up in enough time to get any more than my figures written down this morning before I had to leave for the day.
Anyway, here is my report after 3 weeks of concentrating on working in traffic exchanges.

I did it again last week--I didn't join a new one, but seen in email that one I've been a member of since 2008 was now awarding zubees while surfing.  Zubees are collected and then traded in for cash and prizes.  Since I collect them now at Traffic Royal, I knew I wanted to collect them somewhere else either.

This one is Traffic4Webmasters ---nothing spectacular about it.  You can earn the zubees while surfing and every so many pages you get a chance to win cash.  Every so many pages you receive a surfing ticket for the weekly drawing. (I barely got in on that, but did win it for 8 cents).
I was surprised to see that I could promote up to 30 websites and also 10 banners---this one doesn't have text links.   I later found out that I have a lifetime gold membership is why I can promote so much.
My guess is that's why I signed up for it all those years back--it was an offer that the first so many members got a free lifetime gold membership.
I am taking advantage of the 30 rotating while collecting the zubees.   I did have to take some time to delete sites that I no longer do, remove repeats, and then add in new ones.
It's all good.

Back to Traffic Royal.  I am still LOVING this one!  I was disappointed to find out that the days that I had won the face your opponent in surfing that I hadn't gotten the 4 cents.  I went to the page and found out that to win, no matter how much or how little your opponent surfs, you must surf 500 sites to qualify for the cash.  Crud!
I now am surfing a minimum of 500 sites there daily (doesn't take long at all) and if my opponent does the max for the contest of 750 sites, then I do that too to share the prize.
I know this sounds like a lot, but as I am surfing I am collecting lots of credits----some cash---zubees---stickers (which are points to trade in on yet another website)----drawing tickets or pennies at the Magical Downline builder website-----and having fun while doing it!

This is getting long so I will say that I am still having lots of fun with all of them, but not making much.  My total earned this week was just a bit higher than last week at $4.50.
I did get one referral to Gladiator Hits that upped me in the top 25 there.
I'm in hopes of getting referrals other places as I continue to put my sites out there.

I am including the banners for each of the traffic exchanges that I am doing.  Easyhits4u isn't figured in my weekly earning, but I am surfing 100 sites a day for 3 cents each day.
